That speed bonus in forests, is something that makes your 300-man party catch up to a 70-man Khuzait party trying to run away, or conversely, makes your 300 man party able to escape 10 x 80-man parties chasing you. Battanian culture bonuses most directly and decisively aid in combat that way.
By the time I made my kingdom, no one attacked me for awhile except the faction I started out warring with. Long story, if you can hold out and start a war with one faction by attacking them, the rewards are pretty limitless. Hold off on completing the dragon banner quest's last task even after youve started your kingdom.

I was already choosen as a new King after the current ruler was killed. But late game is in Bannerlord not as good designed, so, I stop to play normally. Its just borring to siege enemies after your conquered 5 towns. And no advantage. and unfortunately no content for late game, just fight, fight and fight. #1.
So I made my own kingdom finally, I have a couple castles and two cities. However, I cant really progress since other kingdoms keep declaring war on me for no reason. I don't have a negative relationship with them. I get that the whole point of the game is to wage war, but i just want to breath for a minute and its hard to do that when a kingdom with a power of 8000 keeps attacking my fiefs. I
When you go to steam > find bannerlord > start the game > you can go into mod tabs in bannerlord launcher and see if anything is enabled > disable it all. Game only works on 1.8 (unless you fix 1.7 version with special fix, because taleworlds are apes in coding and fixing their game [ more often breaking it
I went online and ALL OF THE ARTICLES mentioned raiding a village which costs you 300 influence. As I only started as a humble kingdom (by cheesing Lageta out of the Southern Empire & the Battaniand), I couldn't afford this.
